Take a break and unwind in this peaceful one bedroom apartment right on the water in the quiet East End gallery district part of Provincetown. The apartment is located on Commercial St’s bay side with blissful views of sunrises & magic hour. Featuring an open space with reclaimed wood & glass sliding doors that lead you right to a garden patio with beach deck and private beach access! This is the perfect place for your P’town on the water getaway! Ask us about our other listings. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a charming house on the water which has seen the likes of playwright Eugene O'Neill & Lauren Hansberry, and novelist Ayn Rand. The house features multiple units with other renters and tenants. The main space features a big living room, kitchen and dining room with a pull out full sofa bed in the living room. There is a TV screen to plug in your laptop and watch movies (it is not a TV). There is a separate small bedroom with a full bed, and also full bathroom. There is a small desk with a chair, more like a cute old fashioned writing desk. You will enjoy the gorgeous view of the water during magic hour while reading a book! For the pull out sofa bed, there is a blanket in one of the lower drawer of the dresser located in the bedroom and there are extra pillows on that bed. If interested we have other listings on the 2nd floor titled: 'Waterfront w/deck and private beach access!' & 'Private beach access & beach deck!' The beach deck is communal and is for everybody to enjoy... but you'll most often be the only one using it. The garden is private though, and only you will be enjoying it. The apartment is located in a big house right on the water on Commercial St, in the gallery district/East end part of town. It's a quiet part of town, with many galleries around, yet 5 mins by foot from downtown. By foot or by bike is the best! The main st - Commercial St - is a very pedestrian and bike friendly street. Parking: there is no dedicated parking but you can park anywhere for free on Commercial St. See more details about where to park below. Please open the windows and turn on the fan if you do any cooking that involves smoke as we have smoke detectors that will go off in the house. Please note that we charge $125-150 per night for every guest over 2 people. We also have a $100 per stay pet fee. Please note that our place is not child safe and baby safe. There are outdoor night lights for the garden and deck. The switch is located inside, under the TV. The thermostat is located in the small closet to the right of the bedroom. The thermostat is upside down but it still works! Don't set it to below 60ºF except in the summer, even if you leave the house. And if you are too warm in the off season, please turn it down rather than opening the windows. It avoids wasting energy & gas. Thank you! For long term stays, the trash goes out every Monday night. Plastic, metal, cardboard, glass containers go in the blue bin. Regular trash goes in a sealed plastic bag in the brown/grey bins. Please make sure you secure the trash can lid lock after opening the trash can as we have raccoons and they will go through everything! Parking: in the summer if you can't find any parking on our block you can park on Commercial St between Bangs St and Cook St or Cook St and Howland St. If there are no spots there you can probably find spots on Bradford St which is parallel to Commercial St. There is also paid parking on Commercial St 1min further down, across from Spindler’s restaurant. Note that in the season there is street cleaning Wednesday morning on our block and Tuesday morning between Bangs and Cook and Howland Streets. Let me know if you have any trouble.
