This beautiful, modern three-story home with A/C is located blocks from the center of San Miguel and is luxuriously appointed with designer furniture and amenities. You will love this gorgeous 3-bedroom, 3-bath home in the heart of San Miguel less than a five minute walk to the park El Jardin Allende and the church La Parroquia. The house has the modern industrial feel of a New York-style loft, featuring beautiful exposed brick walls, steel columns/stairs, and polished cement. From the street, you walk into a small courtyard with a weeping wall fountain that opens into a fully-stocked kitchen and beautifully furnished dining room and living room. The second floor has a master bedroom with views onto the bougainvillea-filled courtyard, a king-size bed and lavish bathroom that has been equipped with dual vanity sinks and a walk-in shower. There is another bedroom on the second floor that has two bunk beds and also has its own bathroom. The third floor features another bedroom with a king size bed, its own bathroom and looks out onto a beautiful terrace with views into the Centro of San Miguel and San Juan de Dios Church. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer on this floor. All bedrooms are air conditioned and are luxuriously furnished with Sealy beds, fine linens and towels. The house also has many modern amenities, including 50MB WiFi, Yamaha receiver for streaming music in the kitchen and living room, 49-inch Samsung TV that streams Netflix and Amazon Video, and 2 wireless phones with free calls to anywhere in United States, Mexico and Canada. Casa Chaparrita is located on a quiet street where many of our neighbors have lived for years. Loud noise (music, signing, yelling etc.) - particularly on the terraza - after 10pm is not tolerated by the neighbors very well, nor the local authorities. As such, if you plan to party into the night, this will not be the ideal place for you. But you can still enjoy yourself in any part of our house after 10pm, albeit at a reasonable volume. We would be thrilled to help you have a terrific visit in any way we can. We have a digital keypad on our front door to which we will provide you the code, so there is 24 check-in and I am always available to answer any questions you may have. Our home is located on the quiet street of Indio Triste that is one block off of Canal street and several blocks from the plaza with La Parroquia Church at the center of San Miguel. There is a public parking lot across the street and numerous bars, restaurants, galleries and boutiques within a few minutes’ walk. Being located in the heart of San Miguel, often the best way to get around is to simply walk and take in the beautiful colonial architecture and cobblestone streets. If you need to visit a site that is outside walking distance, there are numerous taxis and Uber also operates here. The public parking lot across the street from our home is a good option if you have a car, but it can fill up by early afternoon and on the weekends. So if you would like us to try to reserve you a parking spot, please let us know in advance. You can also rent a parking space for multiple days so that you can come and go and keep you place reserved.
