On the weekends there is lots to do, but it is far removed from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas. The barrio's main road, PR-681, is a scenic route that runs the coast of both Barceloneta and Arecibo, offering breathtaking views of the shore and great little kiosks for tasty eating. This property is conveniently located right between La Cueva del Indio and Playa Caracoles. The Arecibo Lighthouse is a quick ten-minute drive west on PR-681. The beach behind the property is a safe-haven for sea turtles, a popular place for local surfers and a great place to explore the reef formations and caves. Because we have a pool and a landscaped yard, these need regular maintenance. Pool maintenance occurs weekly typically on Friday mornings. This will not disrupt your stay in any way and you will not be responsible for letting the worker in or out. The gardeners usually don't come when guests are there but occasionally they might have to, but similar to the pool maintenance worker, you will not have to disrupt your routines to allow access.
