Enjoying ultimate privacy, the lower relaxation and dock areas will be exclusively yours. Lounging, paddleboarding, swimming, snorkeling, firepits, cocktailing and sunbathing are all possible at KC Retreat. A self-contained one bedroom cottage, drive up the private driveway to your St. Georges hideaway. Park your car or bike, and walk up eight steps into the combined kitchen/living room with dining table and chaise couch looking onto a 50" smart TV. The full galley kitchen contains all of the tools you need to prepare a meal. Appliances include: fridge, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker and electric kettle. In the next room, with plenty of storage in the large closet, the bedroom contains a queen sized bed, reclining chair and shower stall bathroom ensuite. There are room darkening curtains on all windows in the bedroom. Second bathroom and washer/dryer are located in a separate room on the ground floor, connected to the cottage but accessed from the outside. This bathroom is perfect for rinsing off the salt and sand after your adventure filled day. The surrounding grounds slope down and away from the cottage towards the water. Stopping off halfway down is the Quarry Garden with its enchanting rock cuts and mature fruit trees. Continuing down towards to the water, you will find a private, attractive dock that is perfect for swimming or launching paddle boards. You will have exclusive access to the cottage, grounds and dock. We live a few minutes away from the property and will be available for anything you may need. Communication before and during your stay is easiest through the app. Stokes Point is low-density residential neighbourhood of around 17 homes. The end of Stokes Point Road terminates where the Severn Bridge used to connect St. Davids Island to St. Georges Island and the mainland. Our cottage is located towards the end of Stokes Point Road and is a 5 minute walk to and from the main road (Mullet Bay Road) where you will find bus stops adjacent. Prior to your check in we can arrange to purchase Bus Passes - 1,2,3,4,7 day available ($19,$31.50,$44,$48.50,$62 respectively). Parking is available for rental cycles and mini-cars on property. We also offer a dual EV charging station. Taxis are also a popular way to get around. We will provide the names and numbers of our recommended drivers for you to use during your stay. Everything East End is within a 5-10 minute ride from Stokes Point Road: - Ferry Reach Park - The Town of St. Georges - Tom Moore's Jungle and the Caves - Fort St. Catherine and Tobacco Bay - Coopers Island Nature Reserve - Airport Two paddleboards and two pushbikes (helmets and lock included) are stored on site for use. Note that landscaping and conservation management works are taking place around the property, away from the cottage.
