Featuring an OFF GRID 2 bedroom 1 bath home with a private waterfall and fully equipped kitchen. Please enjoy our private waterfall. Access to waterfall during the daylight hours only. This way check in instructions can be forwarded to you. Easy breezy self check in. Recommended: To buy some groceries before you arrive so that you can enjoy your first morning with your favorite foods. This is a duplex set up. Meaning two living spaces are side by side. The host lives in the studio in carport. The host treasures your privacy. This property sits on 21 acres and there are also cabins sharing the land that we also live in. Please do not disturb guests in cabins. Convenience: We are only 4.4 miles to the Papa’aloa Country Store and they have a menu for take-out and deserts with quality grocery options. Old Town Hilo: is only 27-minute drive. All the normal conveniences are there. Maintenance: When you are not home ground maintenance are active around the home as needed. Laundry: Is handled for you. A reasonable amount one or two loads is ok. You will not have direct access to use Washer & Dryer. Waterfall is an easy a 10 minute walk from home. About 1500 sq. ft. walk through beautiful pastureland. Plan to have fun and get wet and dirty on the short hike to waterfall. It's an easy hike. Muddy Rocky and slippery. You need to be an active healthy and capable human. This hike is not for a disabled person of any kind. Location: We are an Off-Grid homestead. Water: Hawaii has the best water in the World. Our drinking water is rainwater. Our water is filtered and UV treated. Safe for drinking and cooking. Electricity: is provided Sunrise to Sunset. Our electricity is solar powered. If there is no sun. We need to use our generator. Please be mindful not to leave lights on. If not in use. If you are disabled with a need for electricity while you sleep. This is not a fit for your lodging needs.
