We live in this home most of the time and when we are gone we rent the complete home. There is a door key pad on the door in the rear of the house that leads to the half bath and rear bedroom. With the code you can gain entrance to the home. My daughter Mary Lynn, lives 1 mile away and she will be available to check you in and out, answer any questions and hopefully solve any problems that you may have. We are walking distance to the Homosassa Wildlife State Park, where you can view the manatee and visit the animals that are indigenous to Florida. Just a short Kayak ride from our dock to the main Homosassa River where you can swim and see the manatee during the winter months. We don't have public transportation, so a vehicle is recommended. There are good walking routes nearby. Drug stores, grocery stores, restaurants and bars are all within 2 miles. We walk to many of them. Great neighborhood. We stay in the home most of the year, but while we are on vacation visiting family in other parts of country we rent the entire home. So most of our personnel items will be in the master bedroom. There will be space for your items. The other two bedrooms are set up for guests year round. You will have use of the kayaks and the dock but not the boat.
