This spacious cabin has enough room and beds to accommodate up to 20 people and is great for family gatherings! This cabin is also conveniently located just 20 minutes away from Yellowstone National Park, five minutes from the local store, and five minutes from world class fishing located at Henry’s lake. The house is also accompanied by an amazing view of Mount Two Top from the back deck. This large cabin consists of three separate levels. The top level has five beds in total. A king bed in the bedroom and four queen beds in two separate open areas. Each area has a wardrobe and a nightstand. This level also has a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of space. From this level, you will be able to overlook the dining area. The main level is where one of the main entrances of the house is located. This floor includes a large open concept kitchen, great for cooking for large groups, and has bar seating and two large dining tables. So no one will be standing unless you’re the dad of the group. The primary living room includes two love seats, a couch and the back deck access. Onceon the deck, you will find lounge chairs and a BBQ grill. This floor also consists of a very large bedroom with a king bed. The bedroom will be located just down the hall, past the shared bathroom. The lower/basement level is the final level of the cabin. This level is where most of the group will sleep. The level consists of four twin beds, two queen beds and a secondary living room, which includes a TV, a couch, and a loveseat. This floor has a conveniently placed bathroom so no trudging up the stairs in the middle of the night. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combination. This floor also has access to the second entrance. This access opens up to a spacious area which includes a fire pit. Great for late night storytelling and roasting smores. Amenities to Balsam Hill Lodge include a fire pit complete kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, basic kitchen utensils, dish-ware, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, fans, smart TVs, board games, pack and play, high chair, heat, fireplace, barbecue, free WiFi and garbage haul off. The main entrance will be visible from the driveway. There will be a patio and railing in front of the door. The Secondary entrance is located around the back of the cabin. The pathway to this entrance will be in the back right corner of the driveway and lead underneath the deck at the back of the cabin. This is also the entrance we encourage our winter guests to use so they can avoid snow piled in front of the first entrance. Guests will have access to the whole cabin except for one closet. This closet is used by the cleaner to keep supplies at the house. I live in the area year round and am available to guests when needed. During your stay, take advantage of all the area has to offer. Within minutes from the cabin you will have access to golfing, Yellowstone National Park, floating the river and live theater. Feel free to reach out to us for more information about activities and attractions in the area. There is ATV and snowmobile trail access from the cabin. If your group is interested in exploring some of the trails in the area and you're in need of some machine rentals, we partner with several local rental companies and some of them can deliver the machines directly to your rental cabin. Guests will need their own transportation, public transportation is not available. Be sure to plan a visit to Yellowstone National Park during your stay with us. There is an abundance of wildlife, beautiful scenery and countless sights to see. Some of our favorite places to visit during a day trip to the park are West Thumb Geyser, Firehole River Swim Area and Lamar Valley for the best wildlife views in the early morning and at sunset. Grand Teton National Park is also near the area. It is a 2 and a half hour scenic drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone through the South Entrance into Jackson Hole, Wyoming. No smoking. No pets.
