I'm generally home and am glad to help with info, etc., but I respect guest's privacy. Chair yoga class meets Fridays at 12:30 pm and you are welcome to join in. Hiking trails are abundant and the Volcano National Park is a must see. Check with individual facilities for hours due to covid. Hele-on bus is infrequently available. It is best to have your own car. The area is centrally located to Pahoa, Keaau, Hilo, Maunakea, and Volcano. Hiking, photography, bird watching and the new black sand beach at Pohoiki are nearby as are many yoga retreats, crafts and cultural events at community centers. Restful and private behind the palms. Luxury soaps from Kona Natural Soap Company use fresh aromatherapy scents and are locally made. Filtered water in fridge. Close to Volcano National Park, Makuu Pt., farmers market, Shipman Beach, Uncle Roberts night market (check with facility for hours), Maunakea and observatories. Lava Trees State Park. Bananas and orchids flower in the yard for several months. Many species of native plants including guava and ohia, live happily in the yard.
