This marvelous accommodation is for the nature-lover who enjoys luxury. It boasts a lovely deck which looks out onto majestic tall trees and lush green foliage with a romantic soaking tub for two. Centered in the room is a custom-made king-size bed fashioned from cherry wood and adorned with luxurious bedding. There is full kitchen and dining area with views for a tranquil place to share a meal. This is true Hawaiian style where you can enjoy comfortable, elegant and laid-back island living. This is a private cottage with vaulted ceilings and one large area that has a Kitchen, Bathroom, shower and deck with bathtub overlooking a beautiful gulch. There is a laundry room downstairs that has a washer and dryer as well as some beach chairs, boogie boards and towels for guests to use. Our Sanctuary is at 3000ft so the winter nights are cooler than on the coast, which is lovely for seeing the stars and restful quiet nights. Temps can get down to the low 50's at times in the night and are generally in the 70's during the days. Summer time is much warmer, but never too hot. We have heaters inside as well as a high quality Berkely water filter in the kitchen. We supply local coffee, fresh fruit and eggs from our farm or our neighbors. There is parking next to the cottage and our property is gated and off the main road with plenty of privacy. The cottage will be left unlocked for guests arrival and there are keys and a lockbocx to secure your belongings while you are away. Olinda is one of the Gem areas of Maui with abundant nature, large properties without the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist areas. The higher elevation has cooler nights and fragrant fresh air. There is a lovely hiking area just up the road that we love to walk regularly. We have high speed internet and cable TV in the cottage.
