Here at Bottoms Cottage we accept 2 adults, travelling with up to 2 children, plus 1 infant. Bookings for more than 2 adults will not be accepted. Hosted by Peak Escapes, Bottoms Cottage lies nestled down a sweet little lane in the historic village of Tintwistle. Filled with colour and sumptuous furnishings it’s the perfect cosy hideaway for couples or families alike. Inside you will find a newly renovated kitchen, stocked with all the essentials you could need to cook up a storm, and a comfortable living room with a large sofa that’s perfect for sinking into after a long day exploring. A detailed list of the facilities available here can be found further down this page. From the living room, large sliding doors reveal the village, reservoir and rolling hills beyond. Slide them open to enjoy sunny days or slow evenings on your private terrace complete with comfy chairs and chunky blankets. There is also a sweet little shared garden at the front of the cottage. The garden is not fully enclosed. Upstairs, guests can enjoy a good nights’ sleep under feather bedding in a plush king-size bed in the master bedroom. The children’s bedroom features a fun ‘house’ shaped bunkbed, perfect for both snuggly snoozes and creative playtime! Both rooms share the same shower room, with a baby bath available for our tiniest guests. A high chair and cot are also available by request at no extra charge. Finally, free, on-road parking is available on Old Road by The Bulls Head Pub, just a few metres away from the cottage itself. Please note the historic lane down to the cottage is very narrow so please take care if driving down to unload your bags.
