Located in Grand County at 9121 foot elevation, Winter Park has all the winter and summer activities. Not to mention its close proximity to Corona Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. Local Amtrak service is available at different times of the year in Winter Park and Fraser. During winter months, Colorado has a statewide traction law which requires a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle to drive on Colorado roads. We are located in a high altitude mountain climate. Snow can occur at any time during winter months. Failure to have a 4-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle will likely result in being unable to reach your vacation rental. No refunds will be given due to poor weather conditions. We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance. Winter Park Resort lift tickets can be purchased in the resort. Due to the cool climate, most properties in the area do not have A/C. Box fans are provided in the units. Although the town of Winter Park and Fraser remain open, the resort is closed between the approximate dates listed: middle of April through middle of June and middle of September through the middle of November. All properties listed by this host require an additional legal agreement that must be signed by the responsible party/ reservation holder of the group in order to rent the property.
