My wife and are I are pretty biased, but we are pretty confident in saying this is the best location for an Airbnb in Indianapolis. This charmingly cute, completely remodeled historic home is all yours with parking in the rear. The door is an automated keycode so check in with ease whenever. You are just literal minutes walking to the majority of our favorite things to do in the city. This house is located in historic Fletcher Place, sandwiched directly between Fountain Square and downtown. The house is a small, remodeled historic home with an open living, dining and kitchen area. There's a fenced-in yard with grass and a paver patio and a small porch on the front of the home. There is one bedroom toward the rear of the house and an open loft room with an additional bed -- but keep in mind, the loft is open to the common area! Airbnb lists these as two bedrooms but really it's essentially 1 bedroom and an exposed loft area with a bed! There's a clothes washer and dryer combination on-site with all of your typical "hotel" amenities of a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There is reserved for Airbnb guest parking available behind the house. The garage on the rear of the house is actually utilized by the neighboring house, don't be alarmed if you see activity! They do not interact with the Airbnb beyond parking the car in the garage. As mentioned above, it's situated in an amazing location within Indianapolis. For reference we've made a list of popular locations of interest and their approximate walking distances: Milktooth - 2 minutes Tapper's Arcade Bar - 3 minutes Rook - 3 minutes Bluebeard - 3 minutes Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee - 3 minutes Amelia's Bakery - 3 minutes Hotel Tango Distillery - 4 minutes Chilly Water Brewing - 4 minutes Metazoa Brewing - 6 minutes Inferno Room - 10 minutes Sam's Silver Circle - 10 minutes General American Donuts - 10 minutes Banker's Life Fieldhouse - 13 minutes. New Day Mead and Cider - 15 minutes Sun King Brewing - 15 minutes La Margarita - 15 minutes Revolucion - 15 minutes Kuma's Corner - 15 minutes Hi-Fi Indy - 15 minutes Thunderbird - 15 minutes Whole Foods - 16 minutes Indianapolis City Market - 17 minutes Brass Ring Lounge - 17 minutes Fountain Square Brewery - 18 minutes Nine Lives Cat Cafe - 18 minutes St. Elmo's Steak House - 20 minutes Regal Cinemas - 20 minutes Circle Center Mall - 20 minutes Soldier's and Sailors Monument - 20 minutes Lucas Oil Stadium - 20 minutes Convention Center - 20 minutes The home is entirely yours. The only thing of note is that the detached garage towards the rear of the property is used by the neighbor. They will not enter the property nor yard at any time during your stay -- they simply rent the garage to park their car! My wife and I live in the same neighborhood and are almost always available via messaging through the Airbnb app if you ever have any questions, want tips for the city or have any issues! Fletcher Place is home to our favorite things in Indianapolis. You're essentially next door to Milktooth, Bluebeard, Tappers, Amelia's Bakery, Greek's Pizza, Calvin Fletcher Coffee, Hotel Tango Distillery and more. The house is also adjacent to both the Cultural Trail, the biking and walking path that runs through the city, as well as the easy to ride electric rapid transit bus stop -- the Red Line. In under 10 minutes you can walk to an astonishing number of amazing spots in Indianapolis, including Fountain Square and downtown. Bump it to 20 minutes and there's Banker's Life, Lucas Oil and the convention center. We'll send you a guide to all of our favorites in the city and are always happy to give recommendations based on what you're looking for. As mentioned before, the house is an amazing location to walking to virtually anything. Additionally, it's very close to the Cultural Trail, a biking and pedestrian path running through the city. Lots of people rent from the bike share located here or use the electric scooter from Lime or Bird. There's also the IndyGo Red Line stop very close to the house -- an electric elevated rapid bus line that comes through every 10 minutes. There's private parking for guests available directly behind the home as well as typically ample front street parking.
