While it is easy to walk to everything you need, if you are planning on seeing the rest of the island, we do recommend getting a car as there are great sights all over the island, from Hana to Haleakala to Lahaina. If you really want to explore get a car, we have a parking stall right in front of the unit waiting for you! **Due to the island’s tropical nature, roaches, bugs, etc are an endemic / natural part of the environment. We do our part to make sure they don’t become a nuisance (quarterly pest control).
