This well maintained property, consisting of a main house and guesthouse, is perfectly situated. It is located in the far northwest of Aruba: an area with many fine beaches and interesting tourist attractions. Shopping centers and restaurants. The main house and guesthouse are rented out separately. The main house is only available for long-term rental (minimum rental period 6 months), whereas the guesthouse is available for both short-term and long-term rental (minimum rental period 7 days). The property is fully walled in and the back of the premises is shielded by enormous cacti, some several meters in length. The layout and setting ensures privacy for both house and guesthouse users. The two buildings are connected by a patio-like terrace with a pergola and shade cloth, providing sufficient protection from the sun. This is the perfect place to relax, in one of the hammocks for instance. The terrace area has a very open layout so the refreshing north-eastern trade wind can blow right through. There is a washing machine in the shed nearby the terrace. The beautiful garden boasts a large variety of beautiful tropical plants and palm trees. There is room for two cars on the premises (parking area next to the main house). Both accommodations have cable television and wireless internet (Wi-Fi). The guesthouse is a spacious studio apartment with a private entrance. It is air-conditioned (inverter system) and fully equipped, with a modern kitchen (with fridge, coffee maker and small oven) as well as a dining and sitting area, sleeping area and walk-in bathroom. There is hot & cold water. Sun-worshipers can take their pick from any of the following nearby beaches: Palm Beach, Malmok, Boca Catalina and Arashi. Fancy a game of golf? The ‘Tierra del Sol’ golf course is very nearby. More of a tennis lover? Visit the Aruba racket club tennis courts! You can get your daily groceries at the Ting Wei supermarket, which is only a short, 15 minute walk from the Tibushi property. And if you enjoy walking, you should definitely head for the rugged north-eastern coast for some fantastic, typically Aruban scenery. Unfortunately, there are no bus routes in the area, so we recommend renting a car. Alternatively, you can travel from the airport to the house (and back) by taxi. The island also has a lot to offer to those seeking action and adventure. Nearby activity options include diving/scuba diving near Malmok or at Mangel Halto (Pos Chiquito), mountain biking and/or hiking in Arikok National Park (be sure to visit the natural pool), kitesurfing off Dos Playa, windsurfing off the Fisherman’s Huts and catamaran sailing off Palm Beach. A jeep tour along the north-eastern coast is also well worth your while. Many bicycle races, running contests and triathlons are organized throughout the year. And don’t miss out on all the cultural events on the island, especially the carnival shows. They are an important part of Aruban culture.
