The Treehouse overlooks its very own private cove on a spectacular two-acre garden property shared with our other Airbnb property, Casa Paloma. Just far enough from the village to allow for privacy, but easy walking distance to the town center of San Marcos La Laguna San Marcos is known as the spiritual center of Lake Atitlan, an eclectic mix of Mayan culture and wellness/yoga community. Our small village offers many restaurants, cafes, massage/yoga centers , live music and craft vendors for those who choose to venture forth. OurEnglish and Spanish-speaking property manager Manu will be happy to set up transportation for you and your group from the airport or Antigua and will advise you on day trips, interesting markets, a weaving collective, hikes, coffee or honey tour--or to book meals with our great private chef, Rosa, who will serve you a candle- lit dinner on the patio, overlooking the lake and the stars. We can also book in-home massage with a great local massage therapist. Yoga platform, sauna, kayaks and stand-up paddleboard are shared with Casa Paloma and the Casa Paloma casitas--all sufficiently far enough from The Treehouse to ensure your complete privacy. We recommend that you allow us to book your transportation to the lake with a private driver who can bring you directly to the property or to the nearby town of Panajachel, if you prefer to arrive by boat. Bringing a car to the property is not recommended, but if you choose, Manu will help you to arrange parking. Once at the Treehouse, you can get visit other villages by public or private boat (we'll book this for you). Once a week during high season --and periodically at other times--our chef, Rosa, will be making pizza in the pizza oven. On pizza nights, a communal table will be set up for all guests who choose to take advantage of this experience. Rosa's pizza is the absolute best. And you are likely to enjoy , too, the company of your fellow travellers. Nat can fill you in on this when you arrive.
