Within its 2,650 square feet, you’ll have three large bedrooms, a vaulted-ceiling living room, a separate dining room, the “great room” (which is an open-concept blending of the family room with the kitchen and two additional eating areas), a TV room, a home office, and a chill-as-hell backyard. The closest winery is a little over a mile from the driveway. Healdsburg is six miles north. Travelers who dream of visiting Napa can be there in an hour. And for those that prefer hops over grapes, you’ll be minutes from the world-famous Russian River Brewing Company (stumbling distance if you will). “Windsor Town Green” is the epicenter for community events. It’s barely a mile away. There’s a farmer’s market there on Sundays and amazing dining (from casual to fine) every day. Outdoor activities are all around. If you love cycling, you can get on your bike and ‘just do it’ right from the driveway. “Old Vineyard” and “Starr Creek” public parks are great for hanging out with your kids, both are practically right outside the front door. The Windsor Golf Club is almost as close as the length of the course itself. Arrival and departure couldn’t be easier. You will be just a few minutes off the 101 freeway, and the Sonoma Airport is 10 minutes (3.5 miles) south of here. When you enter the house, the first thing you’ll notice is the air of togetherness and a locally-souced bottle of wine waiting for you. The vintage will be a hand-picked selection compliment of the host for you to enjoy during your stay (or to take home with you). The LIVING ROOM has twin plush sofas facing each other. Enough space for six people to sink into the couches for deep conversations, or sit on the edge of their seats as they enjoy drinks. The DINING ROOM is centered by a sturdy six-person wood table with slipcovered chairs. This room is elegant enough for any family gathering or celebration, yet not so stuffy that you wouldn't feel comfortable sitting around the table playing a game of Uno with your kids. The “GREAT ROOM” is an open-concept area encompassing a family room, the kitchen and two more dining areas. With a free-flowing vibe of togetherness, this is where you may find yourself spending most of your time. The FAMILY ROOM portion has a sectional sofa, a large flat-panel TV, and a fireplace. Netflix & Chill or light a fire depending on how you're feeling. The KITCHEN has stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and all the amenities you need to prepare and host meals of any size. We basically asked ourselves what is everything one would need to prepare any meal, and we made sure that that gadget was here for you (even an egg slicer). Once the food is ready, there is plenty of counter seating at the kitchen island and at a four-top breakfast table. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. Every bed is made with fresh clean linens, extra pillows, and extra blankets. Each room has enough space for you to unpack, store your luggage, relax, and get a sound sleep. The MASTER BEDROOM is huge! A king bed, a lounge chair with an ottoman, a wall-mounted TV, and a large private balcony overlooking the mature tree lined streets of Windsor (especially picturesque as the leaves change colors during the Fall). Possibly the best feature of the master bedroom is the massive ensuite bathroom with double vanities, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub big enough for two. BEDROOM #2 and BEDROOM #3 are large and each has a queen bed. The bathroom these two rooms share has double vanities and a full-size bathtub/shower. A TV ROOM and HOME OFFICE are also upstairs. The TV room has a large leather couch and enough open space to play Twister. The office has a loft-type layout with two dedicated workspaces and ergonomic seating. These areas are set up for you to relax or get your work done. A WASHER & DRYER, strong Wi-Fi, and many other modern features you would expect are throughout the house. The BACKYARD is set up for fun. Four Adirondack chairs surround a fire pit. A gas grill is provided for you to display your barbecuing skills. Eat your steaks out here with a beer or take ‘em back inside to enjoy with a merlot in the dining room. The FRONT PORCH has two chairs and a small table for you to enjoy the quiet of this neighborhood while having your morning coffee. PETS are welcome.
