Our condo is located in Kauhale Makai “Village by the Sea”, a community nestled up against a charming beach; perfect to catch the most amazing sunsets. The property amenities include two pools, a hot tub, volleyball court, shuffleboard decks, putting green, several community BBQ grills with picnic tables and evening tiki torches. Surrounded by beautifully manicured grounds swaying with palm trees and banana trees. This slice of paradise offers a local and relaxed setting, maintaining a vibrant community. Take a breath and fell the Aloha! Our condo was completely renovated, everything is new. Floor to ceiling remodel! We provide a land line phone (with free calls to to the the mainland, Canada and Guam), cable and high speed WiFi, a fully equipped roomy kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, dish ware, blender, coffeemaker (Keurig with K-cups provided) and all utensils including everything you need to BBQ. The large dining area contains a table the seats four. In the living room area there is a comfortable sofa sleeper with a pullout queen size bed and 55 inch flat screen TV. The unit comfortably sleeps four. The bedroom contains a new comfy queen size bed. We also have a twin size floor mattress available if requested in advance. Additional pillows and bed linens are provided. For your comfort, we offer both memory foam and regular pillows. In the large closet is where the visitor will find new fluffy bath, hand and face towels along with beach towels. Beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler pack are also at the unit. The condominium complex maintains a convenient laundry room with coin operated washers and dryers (you can also use an app to pay for the washer and dryers). Parking is provided at no charge. We are here on island and are always happy to help our guests make the best of their trip here in Maui. Kihei is located at the base of Haleakala, a sprawling and majestic 10,000 foot high volcano. Stunning views of the mountain are everywhere. Lined with miles of beaches, local food & shopping, and close proximity to many activities. Fun fact about Hawaii- all beaches are public! There is no such thing as a private beach anywhere in the state. Together with neighboring Wailea, the area enjoys numerous shops, restaurants and “happy hour” opportunities. Kauhale Makai is a short distance from many grocery stores, including a Safeway, Times and Foodland. If you prefer Costco or Target swing by on your way from the airport! Most of our guests rent a vehicle to get around, it's the best way to explore Maui. Kihei is close to the airport, about a 15 minute drive. Our baby essentials are provided through Nokaoi Baby Rentals. Please visit their website at nakoibabyrentals to arrange your rental. You will pay them directly for the rental and they will deliver the item to your unit. Please be advised that personal package deliveries such as Amazon etc- are not permitted, unless under medical emergency and with advance approval. The state of Hawai'i collects a Transient Accommodation Tax of 10.25% and sales tax of 4.166%. Maui county has a Transient Accommodation Tax of 3%. We as hosts are required to collect this tax! Mahalo Laundry facilities are located throughout the complex and are shared. Payable via app or coins. We provide Tide pods. Our beach essentials do not include snorkeling gear as a covid precaution.
