Breath House Hiriketiya
The Breath House Hiriketiya is a nice and open guest house close to Hiriketiya beach, surrounded by jungle but well connected and close to the next bigger city Dikwella. There are several small restaurants, bars and shops nearby, and the guest house is 2 min away from the beach. Guest rooms are equipped with large two-person-beds, big windows and fans. Depending on the room you book, there is TV, or open bathrooms which give a great view of the surrounding. Guests have access to the main room, a large terrace in front of the house, and a big balcony on the first floor, with a view of the jungle. Here the breakfast is served, for a perfect start into the day. :)Located along Sri Lanka’s southern coastline, Dickwella is known for its immaculate beaches and the coral reef which is found beneath exquisite turquoise waters. Amidst such picturesque beauty, breath house{lagoon} is tucked away in the jungle [monkeys ,Peacock,Tortoise, crab, Monitor Lizards, included,] with the Indian Ocean 50 meters away. Hiriketiya beach a landmark of the area, is a tropical paradise for those who are weary of the bustling city and wish only to enjoy the tranquility of a seaside setting. Hiriketiya beach a landmark of the area, is a tropical paradise for those who are weary of the bustling city and wish only to enjoy the tranquility of a seaside setting I'm living close by in case of any questions or problems. I'm usually available throughout the day, but won't be staying in the same building, so you have your privacy. Hiriketiya beach is one of the nicest beaches in the area, small and dreamy, with some bars & restaurants right at the beach, with surf school and a surf board rental close by. Dikwella, the next bigger city, is just a 5 min walk away. Hiriketiya beach is said to have the longest left wave on Sri Lanka. But there are also several other beaches close by. The usual means of transportation here are Tuk-Tuks and taxies which can be caught everywhere. Additionally, there are public busses operating regularly. The closest railway station, Matara, is not too far away. From there, you can take the train directly to Colombo along the coast, which is the cheapest way of getting around in Sri Lanka, and gives a great view. I'm always willing to give additional info. So if you want to book a Tuk-Tuk or a taxi for a certain time or need a recommendation, let me know.
