OTG (Off The Grid) Ranch has lots of room for everyone to relax and have a great time. OTG is a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you prefer nature with a glass of wine under the stars or swimming/ fishing in the lake after a hike, OTG is for you. This slice of paradise has incredible views. Sit at Goat Cliff with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. You might see some furry friends you might not see in the city. They are wild animals so please be cautious if you see one Sitting on nearly 900 acres of blissful nature is a cozy and charming home. We have loved this home for many years and now we want to share our piece of paradise with you. The home has 4 bedrooms with a total of 8 beds (3 queen beds, 3 twin beds and a set of Bunk beds), and 3 full bathrooms. Air mattresses are available, and 2 sections of the couch recline as well. While we recommend disconnecting from technology, this home does have Wi-Fi and a TV you are free to use. There is no cable tv on the ranch, but streaming services and an antenna are available. There is also a DVD player with multiple DVDs to choose from or you can bring your own. There is a full kitchen for you to use so you don't need to worry about bringing anything to cook with. There is a propane grill and a small BBQ grill that you can use as well. You are welcome to cook over an open flame in the smaller fire pit (there are 2 fire pits on the property). If you need to do laundry during your stay, there is a full-size washing machine for you to use. We apologize for the inconvenience but due to the location of the dryer it is not available at this time for guest use. We do allow pets but please keep an eye on them, as there are cacti around and other wildlife. We provide a food and water bowl for our furry guests. Inside the home: During your stay you will have access to the entire house. There are 2 closets that are not for guest, and they are locked. One is in front of the door by the kitchen and the other is a small closet in the living room located by the bar area. Outside the home: The area where the 2 Red Barns and white Pump house is located-is off limits to guests. It's a work in progress, basically a construction project area. But please feel free to roam about on all other parts of the property. I am just a call, text or email away. The house is situated on almost 900 acres of blissful nature. There are some neighbors, but all of the homes are spread out with acres upon acres of land in between. OTG Ranch is a little hidden gem. Plenty of free parking. OTG is situated on almost 900 acres. There is opportunity to explore, hike, climb the mountains, caves to explore, as well as fossils and arrowheads to be found. There are cacti on the property so be sure to watch your step and wear sturdy shoes. If you have 4 wheelers or ATV's you are welcome to bring them. There is an Exxon, a Fishing and Tackle shop, and a Dollar General within about 15–20-minute drive from the ranch. They have Wal Mart, HEB, Restaurants, a mall, and anything else you may need in town. Going into town is about a 40-minute one-way drive. I recommend stocking up on anything that you will need to avoid making several trips. If you want to venture out there is the Val Verde Winery in town as well as some other locally owned shops. There are multiple historic sites to visit also. At OTG Ranch, we enjoy being able to see some furry friends you might not find in the city. They are wild animals so please be cautious if you see one. OTG does run on well water so if that is not you drink of choice, please feel free to bring bottled water.
