For tennis enthusiasts the National Tennis Stadium is located across the street. And for hockey enthusiasts, the property is 1.3 miles from Bermuda's outdoor hockey rink at Admiralty Park. Guests can also take a very short walk to Ducking Stool Park, a beautiful scenic spot with a great view of the North Shore. You can watch the cruise ships entering and leaving Hamilton Harbour, look for turtles in the north shore waters or enjoy some fishing or swimming from the rocks. If you don't feel like walking, there is a bus stop close by and the route 10 and 11 buses run every 15 minutes - either into town (a 1 minute ride - 2 minutes in traffic!) or out to St Georges at the east end of the island. Renting scooters is a popular way to explore the island and more recently the introduction of electric cars ("Twizys") for rent has proven to be a popular and fun way to enjoy some sight seeing. Pembroke Villa is equipped with a Twizy charging station and parking area for our guests and the rental location is on the outskirts of Hamilton - walking distance or a short ride by taxi or bus.
