Enjoy a storied stay at the Novel House, a beautifully restored home in the heart of Manchester Village. The house is designated historic by the Manchester Historical Society and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. In the mid-1800s, the mother-in-law suite (Novel House) was added to the original Wickham House (built c. 1790) to accommodate larger families which visited the elegant summer enclave of Manchester Village. The home was recently renovated for modern living. Professionally cleaned between guests. This is a 2 bedroom home, which sleeps up to 4 adults. The third bedroom (baby's nursery) is closed off for owners use only. The house is beautifully furnished. There is a large sleeping porch connected to the two rear bedrooms. Opened up to the living room and dining room, there is a newly renovated kitchen with everything you need to either cook at home or stroll to the nearby restaurants down Main Street. The two full bathrooms upstairs have radiant floors. There is a powder room located on the main floor. Please note, the Novel House is attached to the rear of the Wickham House.
