You will fall in love with our Keauhou Condo! It is open, airy, with high ceilings and artfully decorated. We offer 4 ceiling fans and 2 portable fans to enjoy the island breeze! It is located across from the golf course and a mere 5 minute walk to Keauhou Bay where you can go snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding or simply bring a couple of chairs and enjoy the ocean right in front of you. It is private, quiet and located in very well kept grounds. Simply gorgeous! You will enjoy an open concept with lots of light, and space. The kitchen is fully equipped for those of you wanting to prepare gourmet meals. The lanai offers you plenty of sitting space to enjoy an outdoor dinner or a cocktail while watching the sunset. The king size bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is to die for! The complex offers two salt water pools surrounded by lush gardens, that will make you not want to leave. Although I am not residing currently on the island, I am available to all my guest via the Airbnb message center and/or my cell phone for texts or calls. I also have a fabulous property manager available on the island. Although very privately located, it is also very close to Keauhou Shopping Center, with a KTA supermarket, a Ride Aids, a movie theater and tons of restaurants within walking distance. You can also catch the trolley that takes you straight into downtown Kona, which is a 13 min car ride as well. Every Saturday, you can enjoy the farmers market at the shopping center as well. The resort is located on Kamehameha III which intersects with Ali'i Drive and all its beaches and areas for snorkeling. If you are looking for paradise, you have found it here! Our unit has a parking spot right in front of the condo. The best way to get around the island is by car. However, you can catch the trolley or the bus right at the Keauhou Shopping center. The Big Island has an amazing public transportation system that will get you anywhere you want to go. We recently installed an air conditioning unit that can be made available upon request. Most of the year, the temperature on the island is such that the breeze and the multiple fans in the condo keep you very comfortable. However, some months can get hotter in the afternoon, so we do offer two solutions: 1. We can turn on the air at no additional cost for two hours a day to cool the space off. A quick text letting me know you are staying in will have the air on in seconds or we can arrange to have it turned on for the couple of hours a day that you determine most convenient for you. Once the space is cooled off, we turn the AC off. 2. We can also offer you the ability to control when you use the AC. We provide you access to the remote control, so you decide the best time to use it. We only ask that you only use the AC while you are in the unit and that the temperature be set to 75. Anything lower is really not necessary and costs a fortune to run. We can offer this service for an additional fee of $20 per day. Payment can be made directly to us. If you decide to go with this option, we would need to know before your arrival so that my property manager can leave the remote control for you to use.
