Located in the Heart of Princeville with beaches, restaurants & shopping just few minutes drive away. This split level home boasts two master suites on the ground floor—perfect for two couples or extended family. Another bedroom & bath complete the upstairs. With 2 furnished lanai's, enjoy sunrises by morning - stargazing by night. Whatever the size of your vacation party, the wide-open, fully stocked kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. Some special features include the Reverse Osmosis water filtration system, VitaMix Blender and new culinary knives, pots, pans and more... The living area with it's comfortable large sofa, opens to the upstairs lanai overlooking the golf course, creating a private viewing space for Sunrises or Stargazing. We give our guests a private and independent stay. However, we welcome your questions prior to or during your stay. In the event you have an unforeseen maintenance issue or something is not working, please reach out during your stay so we can quickly & happily assist. Please treat the home and complex with respect and care as many of our neighbors live here full-time and are friends of ours. Community Quiet Hours are 9pm to 8am. SHOES: When entering please take your shoes off (Hawaiian style) and leave them outside or in the garage. No one will take them if you leave them outdoors! Use the hose to rinse any sand or mud before stepping inside the house please. Shake sand off of beach towels outside since this damages the laundry machine. TRASH & RECYCLING: dumpsters are located at the end of our laneway to the right. Please remove all garbage and place it in the bins there. You will also find recycling for bottles and other items that have a deposit associated. Unfortunately, we do not have recycling on site for other plastic and cardboard items. If you do wish to recycle these items you can take them to the Hanalei Transfer Station located at 5-3751 Kuhio Hwy. ASSIGNED PARKING: Park in the space outside our unit marked with the 10 number. Additional information on parking is as follows: • There is a $250 for each parking violation. • No vehicles may be parked along the main roadways. Renters may not bring more than two vehicles into the community at one time. Normally renters will park their car in the spot right out front of the condo labeled 28. This is the designated parking spot for our unit. • Please park your primary vehicle in the numbered space and your second vehicle in a designated guest space. • If you have a guest they may park up to 12 hours and NO more than three consecutive days within the community. • No vehicles may park in the driveway of any condo except on an infrequent and temporary basis. For greater clarity “infrequent” shall mean not more than approximately 2.5 hours while the vehicle is being loaded/unloaded or cleaned. Renters who violate the stated rules will incur a fee of $250 per violation. This is managed by our building and they enforce it regularly and with great conviction. Please stick to the rules to enjoy your stay! SMOKING: Sorry, smoking of any kind is not allowed anywhere in the condo premises, not inside, not in patio, not in parking lot. However, you can smoke on the public path outside complex. Screen doors and windows & INSECTS: please close screen doors to prevent bugs to come in. Remember that we have a tropical weather and lots of mosquitoes are part of natural area. POOL/SPA/BBQ: located steps away from the front of the condo. The area can be accessed by using the key in the bowl. This is the only pool key and there is a $150 dollar charge to replace it, please guard it carefully! The pool is open to guests from 6am until 10pm. No glassware is allowed in the pool area and we have provided plastic glasses to enjoy your beverages by the pool and spa. There are specific rules posted in the pool area that you should familiarize yourselves with. Our onsite management team at Villas of Kamalii take these rules very seriously and help to enforce them. TV's: There are TV's. One in the main living room with basic cable and streaming. The bedrooms are streaming only. Amenities provided: we provide beach and bath towels. Beach chairs, two boogie boards and a cooler are all located in the garage. There is an OUTSIDE HOSE next to the Garage. Please clean off all sand and mud before coming in the house from yourselves and our gear. LAUNDRY: is located in the large closet downstairs before you enter the master bedroom. Please ensure there is no sand or mud on your items before using our machines! We will ask you to replace towels ($) if they are soiled with difficult stains. WILDLIFE: roosters are wild in Kauai, we ask you not to feed them, specially in the patio areas, they sleep in the surrounding area trees so expect to hear them as your alarm first thing in the morning :) Island traffic consists of roosters, nenes and chickens crossing roads. CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS: check out is 10am our cleaners come to the property and get it ready for our next guests! Please remove all opened food items from the refrigerator and throw away in the community dumpster. Please start the dishwasher. The housekeeper will do all the rest. If you want to start a load of towels, that is appreciated, but not necessary. We really appreciate guests sticking to these timelines. Return the pool key back to its bowl and remember to check closets and drawers so you don't leave anything behind. Our assistant charges a $65 fee not including the cost of shipping to mail items left behind. Recommendations for enjoying your time on Kauai: Haena park beach is beautiful and you will need to get a parking permit to go there:If you want to go hiking the waterfall Hanakapiai or do the Kalalau trail or visit tunnels beach which I strongly recommend you to do, you HAVE TO go to the website: to get permits and get parking tickets. Otherwise they will turn you down. Grocery store: Foodland: is the closest grocery to the condo and is located in Princeville Center. They have everything you need including beer and wine. The Healthy Hut Market and Cafe: in Kilauea, is a great organic grocery located 10 mins drive. Big Save: grocery store in Hanalei Hanalei Market: in Hanalei Kilauea Market: in Kilauea At the end of day, you finish with peace and serenity, looking out at colorful clouds dancing across the Makai Golf Course as the sun goes down. The Emerald Lotus is located at Villas of Kamali'i, a small, upscale, gated community in the heart of Princeville. Steps away from the heated pool and jacuzzi. Guests have full access to all interior of the home Garage is used for OWNERS CAR - Therefore No parking in Garage. We give our guests a private and independent stay. We welcome guests questions prior to or during their stay. Gated, Private, Quiet ~ This community offers a Heated Pool and Jacuzzi. Just minutes away from the Princeville Shopping Center with Restaurants, Shops, Bank and Gas Station. Rental Car is HIGHLY Recommended Assigned Parking #10 is located across from the Condo & 1 Guest Parking Spot for an additional car. The Resort Pool, Jacuzzi & Gas BBQ is share by all guests at the Villas of Kamali'i Community. ~YOU PROVIDE consumable items: food, cooking oil & spices & pre-ground coffee, tea, etc. Insects: Kaua'i is a Lush and Tropical Island ~ although every effort is made to keep insects out an occasional insect (harmless Gecko, Ant, Spider, Mosquito or Beatle) may make its way inside. Kaua'i has no dangerous or poisonous insects. The best way to prevent this is to keep screen doors shut at all times.
