In 2021, my family and I began restoring the Motel Montreal and its neighbor, the Lake Haven, into apartments, suites and studios. Our goal is the restoration of these pieces of roadside American history remnant of the days before chains and franchises took over the landscape. The results are amazing and renovations are ongoing. We source labor and materials locally to support other small businesses. The property includes a seasonal outdoor pool with lake views from the adjacent sundeck. There is a sandy beach and a BBQ area. The property is located within an 8 minute walk of all the Lake George beaches and attractions and there are two restaurants within a stone's throw of us. We hope to have the chance to host you! There is parking directly outside of the unit. Every guest is different in terms of their socialization expectations, so we try to respect every guest's unique desires. As a result, a team member is available to assist you 24 hours per day even when the front office is closed for the evening or season. Also, there is a trolley service that stops at the top of our street and goes as far south as Glens Falls. Parking is directly outside of the listing. WiFi disclaimer Please note that we are in the mountains with limited cell towers and cable internet service. When there is a surge of people in the area WiFi and cell service tend to bog down. Service is best early morning before 8 am and after 11 pm as usage is down at these times. This is not a problem just at our property but all over the area given the terrain and limited cell towers. Weekends are the worst of times and weekdays have much better service as there are less people in the area fighting for the same service.
