During your stay, learn about the town’s rich German history, tour the Wildseed Farms, the largest working wildflower farm in the country, or go horseback riding and picnicking at one of our beautiful parks. Fredericksburg is home to many great museums, like the Pacific War Museum and Pioneer Museum on Main Street. The Market Platz is 1/2 a mile east, just a 10 minute walk. Here there are many festivals, including Oktoberfest, the local farmer's market in the summer, live music and thousands of lights decorating the entire Market Platz for Christmas. Fredericksburg is a very walkable town, but if you're looking to just relax, you can also call an Uber, Lift or a local taxi. The breakfast is a light, un-hosted breakfast in your cottage upon arrival. It includes sweet german pretzels and oatmeal raisin cookies, made by a local baker. Along with cereal, milk, orange juice, water, coffee, creamer, sugar, hot tea, hot chocolate, and popcorn for snacking.
