Welcome to Kibu Apartments ! Our apartment is in a great location that is at a 5 minute walk from Boudha stupa. It has been designed by me with thought and intention to bring together traditional Tibetan and Nepali elements representing the lives of Tibetans in Nepal. Our cozy space features colorful tapestries and traditional furnishings, which reflects the unique Nepali and Tibetan- art and culture of these two beautiful regions. Our cozy living room is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the local area. You'll be surrounded by unique elements, vintage furnishing, and beautiful artwork that will transport you to another world. Each of our bedrooms is designed with the traditional and minimal aesthetics of both cultures in mind, featuring comfortable beds, unique decor, and plenty of natural light. The apartment is at a 5-10 minute walk from Boudha Stupa at a convenient neighborhood. It is in a safe neighborhood at a central location with sparkling clean and well designed rooms. You'll have easy access to local markets, monasteries and restaurants, as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We take great pride in our Nepali and Tibetan heritage, and we've designed our space to showcase the incredible artistry and culture of these two regions. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind travel experience that immerses you in the beauty of Nepal and Tibet, our quirky space is the perfect choice. The building has a cute cafe, laundromat and a salon. Furthermore, rhere are plenty of grocery stores, marts, restaurants and cafes nearby that will make your stay comfortable ! Guest access is only limited to the ground, first, second and third floor. The apartment is located on the third floor, the lowest floor being the ground floor. Kibu Apartments is not where I live and hence I may or may not always be available to interact with guests in person. Whenever I am around, I am more than happy to chat and interact with my guests ! Since the unit is centrally located, you will find many restaurants, cafes and convenient store a stone's throw away. There are many monasteries near the unit, the closest being 190m away. If you are looking to visit a monastery in particular, please message me and I can let you know how far away it is. Kopan Monastery - 2kms Pashupatinath - 3kms Airport - 5kms Thamel - 6.7kms Kathmandu Durbar Square - 7kms Swayambhunath - 8kms Patan Durbar Square - 11kms Bhaktapur Durbar Square - 13kms You can easily get cabs outside the entrance of Boudha Stupa which is a 10 minute walk. Our recommendation would be to use ride hailing app "InDriver" to get a cab right outside the door. Getting a public bus is also very convenient if you know your way around the neighborhood and we would love to assist you in getting a public transportation. However, do keep in mind that getting on public transportation isn't the most comfortable choice in Nepal ! If you happen to have your own vehicle, we do have on-site free parking facilities. If you would like to hire a two wheeler (motorbike or a scooter), we can help arrange it for you ! Late check out fee 1. Check out by 2pm : 30% of the nightly rate. 2.
