Shopping and restaurants are minutes away at Wildwood Shopping) or close by (Pike and Rose, Rockville Pike, Montgomery Mall, and downtown Bethesda.) There are plenty of spaces nearby to exercise both mind and body: Davis Public library, the YMCA or just the local park. You can get around easily on foot, with public transportation or by bike. You can also drive your car. A 10-minute walk brings you to supermarkets (Giant, Balducci's), restaurants and boutiques at Wildwood Shopping Center and Georgetown Square. A Short bus (J2), car or bike ride will bring you to NIH/Walter Reed. Bus 6 takes you straight to Westfield Shopping Mall or Strathmore-Grosvenor Metro (Red Line) into DC. Rtes 495 and 270 are minutes away. The Bethesda Trolley Trail bike path that runs past NIH to downtown Bethesda is just down the road (200ft away).
