Welcome to our Tiny houses! Fun 2 story wooden houses with a footprint of just 4 x 6 meters are small but functional. You have a small electric kitchen, living, bedroom, bathroom, balcony and patio with an hammock! We packed all you need in the smaller space we could! Targeted for youngster you will feel like staying in doll house out of a fable. These houses are in our vegetable garden where you can pick up what we grow. Just 3 minutes walk to Mertasari Beach one of the local favorite. Notice! possible noise from 09:00 to 17:00 due to construction next door. We have 3 Tiny Houses and each has its own flavor! All furniture inside follows the color of the Bungalow. Blue - Yellow and Pink, just pick your favorite!. The Blue one is our first and original one. Yellow and Pink are the latest development, slightly bigger and more refined (a little bit more expensive too!). The ground floor is your living area! with a small but fully equipped Kitchen, table for eating with 2 stools, a nice sofa in front of a 32 inch SMART TV with FREE NETFLIX, Cable TV, International channels and TV on demand. A small desk for your on line working and on the patio you can either relax on an armchair or an hammock . The bathroom with shower is also on the ground floor just next to the stairs. On the second floor you have the bedroom, with a very large wardrobe and a desk dresser and to finish a nice balcony where you can admire the kites flying in the sky and the sunset! AC is in both levels, hot water in the shower and a fast/reliable Wi Fi internet. The Mertasari area is in the southern part of Sanur, away from the traffic and noise and is the new residential haven in Sanur. The beach at this southern end is also the favorite place for the Balinese to bathe at Sunrise and Sunset. Also, it is the best place for water sports like Diving, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Surfing and Stand-Up Paddle Surfing. The outside reef has nice waves for every level of surfing and it creates a natural calm lagoon where you can always have a swim and is ideal for kids. Let me tell you the story behind our project of the “Wooden Tiny House”. Due to the pandemic, we had a lot of free time on our hands and much of it was spent on the web browsing and dreaming about future holidays. Many times, we came along some beautiful photos of small holiday homes, some really looked fantastic like out of a fable book. That is when we thought why not trying something similar here in Bali. So, we started to work on our new concept and together with our team of Architects, Structural Engineer, and Interior Designer we got serious about the project. We decide to use a plantation hard wood from South Sumatra call BamBang Lanang. This timber grows fast and is of strong class II quality, this species has long been used as a building material by the local community because the wood is strong, durable, and resistant to termite infestation. We now have three functional examples example of our dream Tiny Wooden House, and we are ready to share them with you. The houses are in a small parcel of land close to our home that due to the Covid pandemic we were just using as a vegetable garden to grow our own food. Grandma comes daily to give it a watering and to collect the vegetables for our family use, you too are more than welcome to learn from her and to pick some veggies for your own cooking. Depending on the time of the year you can get: Eggplant, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Bok Choi, Herbs, Papaya, Pineapple, Dragon Fruit, Bananas, Long Beans, Tomatoes, Chilis, Spinach and other types of Tropical Fruits. USD$17) for one car one way (4 people + luggage) We really suggest taking up this offer because at the Airport it is very annoying with the taxi drivers and price at the end is about the same. Our friendly driver will wait for you outside the Arrival Hall with a sign with your name on it and take you directly to the Villa where he will help with the check in and explain all the features and a bit about Sanur. He will use the fast Tollway and if you need to buy some groceries on the way to the Villa, he will stop in a mini market in Sanur close by. Our guest can access their own stylish Tiny House, the garden where they can pick up fruit and vegetables (seasonal!) and they have free parking. We live next door and this is actually our Vegetable garden so expect to see us picking up fruit and vegetable in the garden. Sanur is a great base to explore Bali from, with Seminyak, Kuta and Legian only a short 30 minute taxi ride away, as is the Airport via the new express Tollway. Nusa Dua is only 35 minutes drive and Ubud is about a 45 minutes drive from this beautiful home. The beach is about 2 minutes walking away and to get around the village, bicycles are best.
