Located in the beautiful Residencial Hispaniola community with 24 hour security and a backup electric generator, the villa has fantastic ocean and mountain views and is a ten minute drive from Puerto Plata (POP) airport and within ten minutes walking distance to the beautiful Sosua and Playa Alicia beaches, the town, fantastic restaurants, several pharmacies, and a large supermarket with everything you will need for your stay. This villa has a beautiful, bright, open space design, 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and 7 beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. This luxury ocean view villa has air conditioners in the living room, pool room and all bedrooms!!! Every room has efficient, quiet designer fans that move a lot of air to keep the villa cool on the hottest days. For those that like to sun bathe this villa is for you because the sun shines on the pool deck all day, making for refreshing swims during the day and typically warming the pool to a perfectly comfortable temperature in the evening. Special features of the this stand-out villa include a giant fully tiled 40 foot private pool that starts out at 4 feet on the shallow end to over 6 feet at the deep end, a tiled built-in jacuzzi (heat optional), a 3-in-1 custom pool table, ping pong table, dining room table combination located in a lighted outdoor gazebo with a fan to keep the participants cool, an indoor 150 inch high definition projector and screen where all you need to do is connect your mobile phone or use a firestick or Chromecast device, 6 large smart tvs for streaming Netflix, Apple, Disney, Max, Prime, YouTube videos and other content, hi speed wifi with multiple repeaters located throughout the property where you simply connect to the repeater with the strongest signal anywhere in the villa or outside, a powerful Sony 8 speaker soundbar that can blow the roof off (please don't try:), hi definition cable with every channel including ABC, NBC, CBS, TNT, USA, ESPN and other premium channels, two outdoor Bluetooth speakers around the pool, an arcade style basketball game and a hoop in the swimming pool, and a robotic pool cleaner to complement the efforts of our full-time gardeners to keep the pool clean. You will find USB outlets built into many of our beds or in the bedside night lamps. Each bed also has a memory foam mattress, and an additional 2 or 3 inch memory gel cooling pad to ensure you get a great sleep. We take your sleep seriously and many guests have noted that they have slept better in our beds than anywhere else--including their own beds! 2. This beautiful villa is walking distance to fine beaches, restaurants, clubs and a casino. No car is necessary and instead of spending money on an expensive rental car you can use the extra cash on the available fabulous excursions or wonderful dining options. 3. The community has tennis and basketball courts and a fabulous, large kid's playground area all within walking distance of this villa. 4. From this villa you will experience spectacular ocean views of the beautiful Caribbean sea and mountain views from the interior of the villa, the pool room and the villa pool deck making for a calm and serene stay. 5. The 40 ft crystal clear private pool is fully tiled and filtered by a solar driven pump-- meaning it runs all day and stays super clean! We also have a dedicated Dolfin pool robot and gardeners for maintaining the pool every day to ensure it is ready for use. 6. The villa exterior has supremely maintained tropical landscaping designed for maximum privacy as well as beauty. 7. Free AC is provided in all bedrooms. 8. The villa has 6 large smart TVs (82, 75, 65, 65, 55 and 50 inch screens) all of which have the high definition cable service and on which you can stream your favorite shows from your favorite entertainment apps. The area is known for world class water sport activities (15 minutes away), zip lines/monkey jungle (30 min) and a top golf resort (1 hr). 18. Our solar hot water tank means that we guarantee hot water even if the electricity is down (as long as the sun is shining:). It also means that we try to prioritize the environment while still providing excellent service. 19. Free maid service (see details below) 20. Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Optional and miscellaneous items: Free maid service is provided on alternate days for stays of 10 days or less, and every 3 days for stays longer than 10 days. Air conditioning in all bedrooms is included at no charge and all electricity is free. You now have the option of adding AC in the living room. This is very rare for rentals in the area. You can decide and pay for it once you are on the ground. No advance payments are necessary and for many non-summer days it is not necessary. Current cost is $25 per night. The chef fee is $80 per day for up to 8 persons for 2 meals a day. Guests pay for their own groceries. Add $10 per day for each additional person. Add $30 if you would like chef service on the day of arrival, which requires the staff to go shopping and pay for groceries in advance. No advance payment is required. Cost for transportation is $25 each way from Puerto Plata Airport (POP) and $100 each way from Santiago airport (STI). Personal laundry is $20 per load for washing, drying and folding and must be done by our maids. The jacuzzi can be used without heat at no cost. Optional cost for the heated setup is $125. It includes a full tank of propane (to heat the water) which will typically last about a week with normal usage. No advance payment necessary. The 150 inch high definition projector requires a $25 setup fee. No advance payment necessary. Drivers can be kept on call on a per trip basis. More info is available upon request. For stays of 30 days or longer guests are responsible for utilities including electricity unless otherwise agreed in writing. Car and motorbike rentals are available at the airports and/or in town at reasonable costs. Tips for our staff are optional but encouraged. No more than 5 adult males allowed without prior written approval by the host. Guest have access to all rented areas of the property except for the laundry room. The maids can do laundry for you per the stated policy. You and your group will occupy the villa alone. Our full-time property manager is on-site in the community from 8am to 4pm during the week and from 8am to noon on Saturdays. The manager is also available in the event of emergencies. He will meet you upon arrival and will be your primary contact on the ground. Of course, you can reach out to me (the host) at any time as well. We also typically have on staff 3-4 full-time maids and 2-3 full-time gardeners that service this villa and our other properties. Residencial Hispaniola, in which the villa resides, is the largest residential community within walking distance to downtown Sosua. It is a beautiful gated community with over 100 homes owned by expats from all over the world as well as Dominican citizens. The community and surrounding neighborhoods are very safe and many guests walk to the nearby beaches, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs and the local casino. There is a fabulous restaurant in the development and several excellent restaurants that deliver to the community, so you never have to leave the gates if you don't want to. We recommend otherwise, though, as Sosua is a exciting place with a very rich history, lots to see, and even more things to do! In addition to the on-site restaurant which has fabulous ocean views the community has basketball and tennis courts and a fabulous kids playground. Two well-stocked pharmacies are within walking distance and an emergency medical center, if required, is about 5 minutes away by car. This guest friendly, gated community has 24-hour security and backup power. To the benefit of all, all guests must register with security and provide identification to enter the community. The Residential Hispaniola community is a short 10 minute drive from Puerto Plata airport (POP). Sosua Beach with its crystal-clear waters and fabulous natural reefs is about 10 minutes away on foot and other more private beaches are also within walking distance including Playa Alicia where many guests also dine at the fabulous Waterfront Restaurant. Transportation is $25 each way from Puerto Plata (POP) airport (which is 10 minutes from the airport) and $100 each way from Santiago (STI) airport (about 75 minutes). These prices are for 5 persons or less. If you have more people in your group or significant amounts of luggage please contact us for a quote. We do not recommend flying into Santo Domingo (SDO) airport (4-5 hour drive) and Punta Cana (PUJ) airport (8-9 hour drive). If you decide to dos so please contact us so that we might help with logistics. While you can easily walk to town, we can recommend drivers that will work on an on-call basis to take you wherever you need to go. The villa has a driveway that can easily accommodate 3-4 vehicles. The gated community in which the villa resides, Residencial Hispaniola is guest friendly and has 24 hour security and power. The community is only a 10 minute drive from Puerto Plata airport and has a fabulous on site restaurant, basketball and tennis courts and a large, fabulous kids playgound. Everything you need is within walking distance including the beach, entertainment, clubs, restaurants, bars, a large supermarket and pharmacies. Sosua Beach with its crystal clear waters and fabulous natural reefs and Playa Alicia beach are within walking distance nearby (about 10-15 minutes on foot). In addition to snorkeling, water sports, glass bottom and party boat options at Sosua beach, there are plenty of other excursion options including the highly recommended and ever popular 27 Waterfalls of Damagua, world class water sport activities and horseback riding at nearby Cabarete (15 minutes), a highly recommended fantastic zip line and monkey jungle adventure in El Choco less than 25 minutes away (not for the feint of heart, though), and numerous exciting ATV options that take you through the beautiful Puerto Plata outback. Also, for party lovers, the annual Carnival event takes place in nearby Puerto Plata in the February time frame. Commission Referral Policy Clients who refer other guests qualify for up to a 10% commission. The commission percentage is based on the ratio of the actual booked price to list price. The commission is applied to the actual booked price. For example, if you refer a customer and the list price is $375 per night and the actual booked price is $325 per night then the commission earned for a 7-night stay is calculated as follows: Actual Booked Price ($325)/List Price ($375) x .1 x $325 = $28.17 per night If the referred client books for 7 nights, then the total earned commission is $197.19 (7 x $28.17). To qualify referrals must be made in writing prior to any contact between VillaTracey and the referred individual. Also, prior clients of VillaTracey are not eligible as referrals.
