NOW OPEN Self-Serving shop conveniently located just a few steps from your stay. Rentable surf board and beach gear. Picturesque yard filled with fruit trees you can help yourself to eat. From Avocado, Banana, Papaya, Orange, Cherry, and much more. You will have access to the guest house, guest bath room and the Laundry room. Best way to communicate is to message me through the Airbnb app and I will respond as soon as possible. The two houses are completely separated. You will have your own privacy. I leave it up to my guests if they would like to meet me in person. I am happy to meet or not to meet in person! Sometimes we cross paths or not. It is all good. :) The neighborhood is country style Hawai'i. Preserved Hawai'i, that is unincorporated. Neighbors are friendly though they appreciate their privacy and not to be disturbed by tourism. Lay low and enjoy the Hawai'i lifestyle here. Around 7:00 am you might hear the chickens from surrounding neighbors. I don't own any chickens so it is quite peaceful. My place is hugged by 2600 acres of Hawai'i state land. We are on our own little corner of the island. The Hawaiians valued the sense of seclusion and an abundance in space. The homes here are built with that tradition of "not being able to see another person's house in your view. This is why in this area things are so "far away" than what you may be use to living on a mainland country. A new perspective to absorb! The big island doesn't really have public transportation. I highly recommend renting a 4x4 to be able to travel uphill and through dirt roads, this way you can go anywhere on the island. But a regular compact car will get you most places. :) I have a driveway you can park your car. The stay is on the end of the block being hugged by state land. I will be glad to take any photos of you in the yard next to the fruit trees and Native Hawaiian plants.
