Welcome to The Leigh Cayo House! Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is the ideal spot for your next trip to San Ignacio. Equipped for 7 guests, our home features a full kitchen, locally made hardwood furniture, a beautiful balcony with jungle views as well as central AC, TV & WIFI. Located just below the majestic Maya Ruin of Cahal Pech and right above the town of San Ignacio, our home offers jungle views and easy walking to town, restaurants, and most especially, the Cahal Pech Ruin. Unwind with us. The home is on stilts which allows up to three vehicles parking underneath. We have a full service staff for laundry, housekeeping, meals if necessary as well as grocery service. You will have full access to the property. All bedrooms, living space etc. As your host, I will help you with any questions you may have of the area. I can arrange daily tours and excursions for you as well. Please just let me know if there is anything that I can do to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Our home is in a quaint neighborhood of mostly permanent residents. We have a neighborhood watch with all the neighbors. It is a very quiet and safe area. We ask that you respect the neighbors and be mindful of noise levels especially after 11 pm. The house is very close to grocery stores, restaurants, food vendors, and gas stations. All within 3 minutes of driving and about 5 minutes of driving to down town. Getting around San Ignacio on Friday and Saturday mornings can be tricky. It’s market days and traffic becomes much thicker than usual and parking can become an issue. Other than that it is pretty easy getting around town. There is ample parking at the house. Both down stairs and outside the gates. If you would like groceries bought ahead of time or if you would like a meal or two prepared by a local chef, please let us know and we will make those necessary arrangements for you.
