Dishes, pots, pans, silverware and utensils but no stove/oven inside the studio. Covered lanai has gas grill and burner. Very private yet walking distance to all sights in Hawi. We provide beach towels, beach chairs and an insulated beach bag for picnics. Private entrance to cottage and off street parking Owner lives in main house on property. Hawi is a charming plantation town with lovely shops and restaurants. Hawi, in North Kohala, is 2 miles from Kapaau, site of the King Kamehameha I Statue and other lovely shops and restaurants. Our house is 8 miles from the breathtaking Pololu Valley and 20 minutes from the best white sand Gold Coast beaches on Big Island. You will definitely need a rental car for this very rural district. This cottage is an “in town” location with neighbors, kids (basketball, skateboards and bikes) , dogs, roosters and all the expected neighborhood sounds like occasional lawn mowing and weed eaters. You can expect daytime activities typical of a close neighborhood and quiet evenings.
