Welcome to this charming 2-bedroom apartment with a unique and inviting design. As you step through the front door, you are greeted by a stunning entry hallway featuring raised ceilings adorned with bare open beams. These beams not only add character to the space but also create a sense of openness and airiness. The focal point of the entryway is a magnificent stained glass landscape, the colors of the stained glass dance across the walls, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for the entire apartment. Moving further into the living space, you'll find a well-appointed and spacious area that seamlessly combines the living and dining areas. The raised ceilings continue, giving the illusion of even more space. The open layout of the kitchen ensures that the chef can stay connected with the guests in the living and dining areas. One of the highlights of this apartment is the access to two terraces on the roof. These outdoor spaces provide a private retreat where residents can enjoy views of the surrounding cityscape or relax under the open sky. The terraces are versatile, perfect for hosting gatherings, gardening, or simply unwinding after a long day. Guest will access the entire apartment and property common areas. The apartment is located in the fourth floor. The historic building does not have an elevator. We do our best to tailor each experience to our guests’ preferences. Want advice or suggestions? We are always available at your disposal. Need a place to stay but don't feel like chatting? That's okay too, we won't be offended. This historic neighborhood is a tapestry of vibrant colors, rich history, and a lively cultural tapestry that transports you back in time. The rhythmic sound of your footsteps on the uneven cobblestones echoes through the air, creating a melodic backdrop to your exploration. The narrow street is lined with pastel-colored colonial-style buildings adorned with wrought-iron balconies overflowing with tropical flowers. Each structure carries the stories of centuries past, whispers of Spanish colonial influence, and the resilience of the Puerto Rican spirit. The community comes together for festivals and celebrations, infusing the air with infectious joy and a sense of unity. Whether you're drawn to the history, the culture, or the warm hospitality of its residents, we invite you to immerse yourself in the timeless charm of Old San Juan, where every cobblestone tells a story and every moment is an opportunity to create new memories. Parking in Old San Juan is limited. We recommend that our guests do not rent cars unless planning to travel out of San Juan often. In addition to Old San Juan being very walkable, taxicab service, Uber, and electric scooters are abundant and easy to hail. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check-in. Check-in time is at 4P local time. Check-out time is at 11 AM local time. We want to provide a delightful experience to our incoming guests, so we need your help vacating your unit on time. Please keep in mind that any unauthorized checkout past 11 AM will have an additional cost. The apartment requires 4 flight of stairs leading to the entry door. There is no passenger elevator. We offer several paid amenities as add-on services. After the reservation, these paid amenities can be ordered through the Marketplace tab in our Guidebook. We offer packages such as early check-in, late check-out, pack-n-play travel crib, air mattress, and birthday balloons. Our Beach Essentials only include beach towels and beach chairs. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we've included an Otium Starter Package in each of our properties. This package includes all the essentials you'll need to feel to get you started and feel right at home. You'll find 2 large bath towels, 1 beach towel, 1 washcloth per guest, along with a hand towel per bathroom. We've also included mouthwash and toothpaste in each bathroom for your convenience. To keep you feeling fresh and clean, you'll find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. For your snacking pleasure, we've included 2 snacks per guest, along with water and 1 paper towel. We've also got you covered with 2 toilet papers, dish soap, and hand soap. So sit back, relax, and enjoy all the amenities that come with your stay. If you need more amenities you may purchase our Otium Replenish Package, Towel Replenish Package, and Blanket Replenish Package via our Marketplace. Please be respectful of the home, as we like to keep it in good condition. The house rules here are very important. Parties, loud music or noise, and smoking are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours begin at 10 PM. Please be respectful of your noise level during quiet hours. Our neighbors live here full-time, and we work hard to maintain good relationships with them. Our home is equipped with NoiseAware, which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so we can give you a heads-up. NoiseAware does not record content; it only measures noise levels, so your privacy is 100% guaranteed. For stays over 28 days, we require additional personal information and a signed License Agreement to accommodate the stay. All guests will be required to verify their information, including a 3rd-party background check. This is to ensure your safety and the safety and well-being of our neighbors and homes. All information is confidential and will not be shared with anyone for any purposes outside of your reservation. Once all information is verified, we can confirm your reservation. However, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation if you fail to comply or have a failed background check. Please be aware that an additional deposit of up to $500 per reservation will be held during your stay and released within seven days after check-out to cover any incidentals that may occur at the property. Please reach out to our team if there are any questions or concerns. To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes. Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following: -You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions. -You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in. -You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and the condition of the booking. -You acknowledge that there is a pre-authorization hold. This is a standard procedure to verify and validate your payment method and to ensure the validity of the provided payment information. It will be reversed back to your account upon checkout. -You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.
