Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Completely remodeled and new, it's a great place to get away from it all. It's lovely, mostly deserted beach, just outside of the tourist areas. Public transportation is convenient, but it feels like you're a million miles away from the world. The views are stunning, and you can see the ocean from every room in the apartment. The downstairs is still awaiting refurbishment, so you'll have the whole property to yourself...just you and the sea. Casa Costello is a beautiful beachfront hideaway. A perfect hub spot for travelers and kiters just in the middle of Cabarete and Rio sanJuan The entire property is yours, excluding the lower level interior, as it's closed for renovation. (There will be no renovations or construction during any guest stay.) Always available, but have a local cohost as well. Casa Costello is nestled in the midst of a fishing village. You walk to nearby colmados and bars for basic needs and cold beer. You can get fresh fish and vegetables delivered every few days as well from local fishermen and farmers. There is good public transportation available, a 5 minute walk away. It's the REAL Dominican Republic. You will encounter very few, if any tourists or foreigners, so it's an authentic vacation experience. You can rent a car, if you like. I prefer public transportation, as it's cheap and convenient.
