The lodge sits up above Canoe Creek with great trout fishing on its banks and overlooks the historical NE Iowa Canoe Creek Steel Bridge. Perfect for family getaway. Only 10 miles outside of Decorah Iowa and near the Upper Iowa River. This lodge is perfect for a large family getaway. Being one of the only properties in the area that sleeps 20+ people so you can all gather together in one place. Please note that this property is not BRAND NEW built. It does have wear and tear from being a full time rental property . It is priced according to it's beautiful location, several amenities and large space for families and seclusion. We do have internet at the property, however at the time being it is satellite which is not high speed. There are 3 levels. Main level has 2 bedrooms/ 1 bath along with the kitchen and living are where fireplace is and the loft. 1 bedroom has a queen, the other 2 queens. Loft has a futon and living room a queen pull out couch. Upstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms and bathroom , 1 room with 1 queen the other with 4 single beds. Lower level has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath as well and a small kitchenette. 1 bedroom has 1 queen and 1 single bed the other bedroom has 2 twins. Please note this is not a brand new home.. It has it's charm but it was built in the early 1900's. It has scenic views from the deck and large windows. The property is cleaned throughly after each guest, due to a large number of laundry, there may be a small load left in the dryer when you arrive.
