The cottage is centrally located, a short 10-15 minute drive to the town of Portsmouth, and near to many hiking, diving, and nature attractions. The village itself is quaint & cozy, and has everything you would want in its own right. Cathy’s shop, where you can buy fresh bread and baked goods daily. Indigo Art Studios, where you can view some authentic local art. Across the street is Paradise Valley, a beautiful nursery & garden, where you can tour several species of tropical flowers and plants, and admire the peacocks. If you choose to venture out of the village to discover more of Dominica, Portsmouth is just a short scenic drive away, while easy access to the coastal highway takes you directly to the Capital of Roseau. Great central location, close to Portsmouth, about 10-15 minute drive, or take public transit less than a block away.
