Built by hand in 1962 & recently renovated, The Lake House has been a cozy place for family & friends to gather for decades. Now we'd like to share this special place with you! The screened porch allows a comfortable space to watch the morning come & the evening go. Just behind the house is a picturesque fishing pond & a short drive puts you at the Waterpoint Marina on Lake Conroe. Also offers RV hook ups for additional fee & plenty of space to park the boat w/lake access! This is a cozy, efficient space. Open living spaces with wood burning fireplace. Kitchen has gas range, dishwasher and full fridge. Plenty of cabinet space and a large central island for leaning and cooking and sharing with family and friends. Private master bedroom with a queen bed and a small bunk room with a full over full. The couch can comfortably sleep two teens, tweens or little ones. The large bathroom off of the main bedroom has a washer dryer combo and private screened porch with sitting area and access outside. The second bath is a bit tight but fun- a full shower, toilet & sink with LED changing lights and Bluetooth speaker for those who like to sing in the shower! Perhaps the best feature is the huge screened porch with seating and ceiling fans. Nature lovers will see a variety of birds and deer while still in a neighborhood setting very close to all the activities Lake Conroe has to offer! Guests will have full access to the property, including the fishing pond behind the house and the private covered bbq pavilion. The property is wooded, so watch your step while enjoying the outdoors. We live close by and can be available to help if needed. We’ll take the lead from you, our guests. Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay at The Lake House so much that you want to come back! Lake Conroe Forest is one of the oldest neighborhoods on the Lake. The roads are a bit bumpy and narrow. Our property has a beautiful and natural buffer from neighboring homes and friendly neighbors. You’ll be just minutes from Hwy 105 while feeling a world away. The property has plenty of parking space- fishing in a tournament and need somewhere to stay where you can park the boat? We got it! And for those who have more than 8 guests, we have RV hookups available for an additional fee if you have a camper you’d like to set up.
