Our sailboat is a spacious 39 footer built in the Florida in 1972, Since she has been refitted in typical Danish style - solid, safe and simple to sail. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen where we cook everything from scratch - bread, fresh fish, fruits and vegetables. Outside you're surrounded by beautiful warm blue waters, small islands with coconut trees, and the wonderful Kuna people. We include snorkeling and fishing gear, a two person kayak and a great dingy to get us places. whole boat I am super keen on meeting my guests and getting to know about their lives, as well as sharing mine. We cook, eat, and explore together. And there’s always an island nearby to go and relax in solitude. Welcome to our sailboat. We are located around the San Blas archipelago, Panama, considered one of the last virgin paradise of the Caribbean. Also locally known as Kuna Yala, the archipelago is completely owned by the Kuna people, the local indigenous population, that never built infrastructure or hotels in the islands. Thanks to them you can explore with us different islands where the only construction is a wooden rustic hut, where you can buy some artisanal work and a fresh beer. The archipelago is located approximately five hours from Panama City. We are a community of captains and sailors with a passion for sailing with an adventurous lifestyle. We rotate according to the season, but you always find two crew members on board. A wise captain and an amazing chef from different countries and cultures. Come aboard! How to get to the sailboat? 👇 Transportation from Panama city to San Blas (our boat, "THYRA" • Transport is easy to our boats in San Blas • Travel time ≈ 5 horas. • Cost*( per person) : $140 round trip + $20 entrance fee to Kuna Yala (San Blas). I’m going to pass you the number of Judy Lam - she coordinates transport to and from San Blas. 📢 Let me know if you have got anymore questions - standing by in san blas. • JUDY LAM need a photo of your passport (s) and the name / location of the hotel / hostel / airbnb you will stay at in Panama City. JUDY LAM need this info at least 3 days before your trip. ☕Below is how the day will look like:: ›› Taxi picks you up from your hotel in Panama City (usually 5-6 a.m.)** ›› 2-3 hours in Taxi to arrive at the port “Carti” ›› Kuna boat driver will find you and take you with your things aboard his boat ›› 1-2 hours in speedboat to arrive at our boat ››Arrive around 10am to our boat for a big welcome breakfast! *The transport fee and entrance to Kuna Yala are not incluides in the price of your boat. *Payment in cash to the kuna at the time YOU arrive at the SAILBOAT or in Panama City💲 **Please try to bring only a light bag with the essential🙏 Hope to see ya' ll onboar♥️ Come if you want a real experience living in a sailboat with real sailors. You’ll get away from the tourism, meet local kunas, eat great food, and enjoy this beautiful ocean in the best way possible.
