This is a very safe location situated on a quiet street in an upscale neighborhood. It is a 3 story bldg located above famous Park Guinle. Your private room, with large windows and hammock, has lovely views looking onto the forested hills. We are a 7 minute walk to all the shops, food and liquor etc. and close to a large peaceful park to stroll or workout. We are a 10 minute walk to Largo do Marchado metro station where there is an active market, all stores you need and music playing everyday. You will have a full bedroom with a lovely view from the window. The room can sleep 2 people. You have access to the entire house, except our bedroom and a private office. There is a lovely rooftop deck where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or watch the stars at night. We also have a hammock in your room and also on our balcony where you can listen to the birds or watch the monkeys. This is a character home with lots of charm in an upscale, quiet and well kept area. If you want a quieter place to relax between touring and partying, this is a great place! We have a few yoga matts if that is your routine and we are only 15 minute walk to gorgeous Flamengo beach where there is long seaside walkway for walking or running. This is a low alcohol consumption location so if you are eager to consume a lot, then this may not be the place for you. We will provide all you need for breakfast, coffee, tea, fruit, bread. We can also provide other meals, for a cost, if you would like to make arrangements once you arrive. Let us know how we can take care of your stay and we will do our best to assist you. You will be able to access all of the house, except our private bedroom and my office. My husband and I are living in the apartment. We are living in the apartment so are available to assist you when you need. This is a very quiet and safe area. There is a large police facility up the hill, not visible from the house, so the area is very safe. This is a heritage house so lots of charming older features. There are windows in every room so there is a nice breeze flowing through the home all the time. We live 12 minute walk to Largo do Machado metro station. There is also a small van that circles in front of our house from Largo do Machado if you don't want to walk. The neighborhood is safe for walking at any hour of the night. There are 2 short flights of stairs you have to climb to reach the 3rd floor suite. There is no elevator in this building.
