Our home is a 1 BR + den (den is multipurpose with a projector, office and pull out couch), 2BA condo with in-unit washer/dryer. Metro is a 10-min walk, buses just out our front door. Our condo is in a bike and walking friendly neighborhood. Street parking available if you let us know in advance. Kitchen is made to be cooked in. Our cozy one-bedroom+den, two-bathroom condo is the perfect escape in DC, whether you are visiting as a tourist, working or both. Located on the second floor of a four-unit building in vibrant LeDroit Park/Shaw, our home offers a peaceful retreat. Street parking is available with a guest permit that we provide, but parking is at your own risk. The well-designed kitchen is ideal for cooking enthusiasts, and the dining area is a welcoming space to enjoy meals or local takeout. Rest and recharge in the comfortable bedroom with a queen bed and adjustable dimming lights. Down the art filled hallway, which includes the laundry closet, and past the first bathroom, you'll find our multipurpose back room/den. This versatile space can be used as an office, media room (complete with a projector screen), or as an additional bedroom. You will have access to all of our streaming accounts (Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime) and a projector. We do not have a TV, but the projector is easy to use if you follow our instructions. The backroom has a fold out couch and foldable desk to use as either a well-equipped workspace or to accommodate more guests. Enjoy the functionality and comfort of our unique home, where every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a pleasant stay. Our home features a tastefully designed primary bedroom, fitted with dimmer lights, comfortable bedding, and great pillows to ensure a restful stay. The second bedroom is a multifunctional den/office space/TV room equipped with a cozy pullout couch, doubling as an additional sleeping area or a quiet space for reading, TV watching or work. There is also a projector with Chromecast that lets you sign into any of our streaming Apps. The two full bathrooms are neatly maintained and stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries, one has a bath and one has a tub. They facilitate fuss-free morning and evening routines, providing the privacy and convenience of home. Our fully equipped, modern kitchen is a gourmand's delight. Here, you can prepare meals on a 4-burner gas stove with a center griddle, experiment with our sous vide machine and Instant Pot, or brew fresh coffee with our grinder and stove-top espresso maker. High-quality OXO tools, a variety of pans, and tasteful dinnerware further enhance your culinary adventures. Bathed in abundant natural light, it serves as a cheerful backdrop to living space. Amid the thriving indoor plants that bring a breath of fresh air indoors, the condo is decked out in unique art pieces that inspire a sense of creativity and tranquility. Every corner of our home contains character and charm, a testament to the keen eye for design and a love for all things beautiful. For added convenience, our condo features an in-unit washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, and air conditioning and heating systems to ensure comfort in all seasons. For stays over 5 days, we can arrange an additional cleaning for a fee. Off of the back room, you have access to our fire escape. You may not smoke inside of our home, but you can on the fire escape with the door closed. Any smell of smoke inside the house will result in a higher cleaning fee. This condo is on the 2nd floor of a 4-unit building, so you need to climb one set of stairs. Our neighbors are quiet and respectful, and we expect all of our guests to be respectful in return. Please remember, this condo is our home that we are lending to you while we all enjoy our travels. Our condo upholds a no-pets and indoor no-smoking policy, contributing to the cleanliness and serenity of the space.
