We built this tiny house after a trip to Japan where we fell in love with the concept of “shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere). Even though this property is located within a small, private neighborhood, the forest and a rushing creek can be enjoyed from every area. Try your hand at tiny home living in the 196 square foot space. Or cheat a little and sit outside on the cute little porch or creekside deck. The tiny is awesome because you are in the middle of nature staring at a creek, but you are only 2 minutes away from a small grocery store, 35 minutes from the top of Mt. Baker (10 minutes from the base of the mountain), and 10 minutes away from the nearest craft brewery. This property is different from most other rentals in the area because it is not located within a gated subdivision. We like the extra privacy that this provides. The tiny is non-smoking and pet friendly. We live in Canada so this will be your own private space. We have friends close by if there's ever anything urgent.
