This location is situated in one of the most safest area on Big Corn Island, with only a 5 minute walk to Silversand Beach. The reefs by this beach are really close to the shore line wherefore snorkeling is a must do. The property is all fenced up and guarded by 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 chicken and 1 turtle. The room is sufficient, and there's a shared bathroom on 4 meter distance. You will have access to the porche with hammock and rocking chairs, the kitchen bar, the dining room and the garden. The size of the room is small but sufficient. It's in the back yard and completely private. The bed, pillows and sheets are all new and very comfortable. The kitchen can be used for heating water for coffee or thee for no extra charge. The kitchen can be used for cooking. You can use my big variety of herbs/spices and/or (coconut) oil. The fridge can be used to store your stuff and left overs. You'll have access to the whole house except my private bedroom.. I am very sociable and my goal is that my guests arrive as strangers and leave as friends. Home is where I lay my head, and this is a feeling I love to give my guests. They are part of the family. This is a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood with friendly, helpful people. There are a few restaurants on walking distance. Tiki bar, Relax, Victoria, Darinia Fine Dining (reservation only). Big Corn Island is a small island. It's 13 km all the way around. You can use the public bus (if it's not broken down) for C$ 10. Any taxi passing by you can stop and hop in for C$ 20 (after 10pm C$ 30). There's a scooter rental place at the end of my street who gives my guests a good amount of discount. I have one mountainbike for rental. Also walking is a good option. By a minimal stay of three nights, you'll get a FREE Grand Island Tour on the back of Slim's scooter. When 2 persons are participating then you need to rent your own scooter. But no worries, she made a special deal with Island Scooter Rental on walking distance from the accommodation. If her son Daxon is giving the tour, a small donation of like C$ 50 p.p. would be much appreciated (for his allowance 😅). If you like me to make you breakfast, no problem.
