Kilau indah translates as beautiful shimmer, which is precisely what occurs at sunset on most days at this property. For guests staying more than 14 nights we offer free pick up and drop anywhere on Bali. The villa offers 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom and handmade canopied king size bed. The master suite includes a large creative working space facing the terrace, pool, and sea. The massive open living/dining room and kitchen offers every amenity and adjoins an airy and cool veranda facing the pool and sea. Air conditioning and ceiling fans are in every space. The clear sunlit infinity pool is 15 by 6 meters with a large stone deck and pavilion. The villa sits on a black volcanic sand beach of the Bali Sea. The villa, pool, and large garden are entirely and privately yours. The beach is public but you will see no throngs of tourists; only a very few others like you and local fishermen. The villa has two full-time staff, Dewi is your personal assistant, and Yogi tends the pool and garden. Dewi will do daily tidying, laundry, and rubbish removal. She may also do grocery shopping, cook meals at your request, or help you get locally made carry-out food for you. She can also help you arrange transportation. She works all days except Sundays and Hindu holidays. The area has 6 privately owned villas located on the beach and side by side (see photos). There is a nearby fishing village, but otherwise nothing but rice paddies. The nearest busy road is over a kilometer away and silent at that distance. The villa is about 20km from the tourism center of Lovina Beach, where there are many restaurants and grocery stores catering to Western visitors. There are also a number of tourism spots (waterfalls, hot springs, temples, dolphin watching, snorkeling/diving). You can rent either a motorbike or car/van with a driver. Just ask Dewi for help making that arrangement. We speak English, Indonesian, and Spanish. The rural setting of the villa includes daily religious observances by local Hindus and Moslems alike within earshot of the villa, though not overwhelmingly so.
