There is a new mall just outside the town . there is a yacht club and public harbour where boat excursions can be arranged. beaches close by , a small naval museum and rugged golf course in general A pretty laid seaside back town a car or bicycle is recommended as no public buses. There is a train station and the train runs to cape town but parts of the line are unsafe towards town and there is often sand on the tracks , however if it is running and you can take the newer blue train it is fun to catch the train to muzinberg st james or kalk bay There is an additional upstairs bed room, which sleeps 2 in a queen bed separate bathroom and kitchenette with front and back balconies with lovely views available on request for an additional fee ( last pictures)
