Our detached casita is bright and modern, and features brand new appliances including a W/D, gas range, a smart tv and a spacious bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Outside you will find palms, bananas, and avocado trees in your own private garden area, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Within a few blocks of the house, you can walk or bike to dozens of restaurants and shops. Encinitas is a funky cool beach community about 10 miles north of San Diego. It’s just what you picture when you think of a California beach town; palm trees, flip flops, surfers and fish tacos. Well known as a destination for surfing and yoga, it has incredible dining, interesting people and miles of sandy beaches. The Coaster light-rail station is just one mile south, and provides access to the greater San Diego area and Tijuana, Mexico. We are in close-proximity to numerous world-reknowned golf courses including Torrey Pines, and La Costa Resort. Legoland is also just 7 miles north, the Del Mar race track is 5 miles away, Disneyland is a 90 minute drive away, and Sea World and the San Diego Zoo are approximately a 20 minute drive south. Our neighborhood has a quiet beach on the west side that is visited mostly by locals. On the east side, you will find the shops and restaurants of the the coast highway 101. It's well known as a great place to a take walks, ride bikes, window shop and watch the sunset over the waves. Please note that the bedroom is a separated from the main living space by a partial wall. But it is an open concept living space so there is no actual door. It is somewhat of a hybrid between a one bedroom and a studio.
