Welcome to Fadidi House Annex! Cozy artists’ Airbnb in between Ouakam and Mamelles, 15 minute walk from le Monument de la Renaissance, and le Phare des Mamelles, 3-5 min walk from local restaurants and markets, and 15 minutes from downtown Dakar by taxi. Room Dior is a private room with a private bathroom with a hot water heater. The apartment has one other bedroom, so if the room is occupied you would share the living room and kitchen. You are welcome to use all of the shared spaces. Cooking basics are included (access to spices, oil, salt/ pepper). There is also a giant rooftop that connects to Fadidi House, the mother Airbnb. The place is very secure, with three entrance doors. The apartment is tidy and clean. We have unlimited professional WiFi with a strong signal. Entire apartment, rooftop as well as second rooftop at Fadidi House. We are available for anything you need! SPECIAL PERKS OF BOOKING WITH US: - At our Airbnb, we try our best to show you Teranga (Senegalese hospitality) and give you access to the local life. You are welcome to eat with us, hang out with us, etc. Our house is your house! We also are available to help you with things you may need such as a SIM card, changing money, etc. - Feel free to eat lunch with us if you’re around. We usually eat local home made dishes around the bowl. If you plan on eating meals with us, we appreciate a contribution for ingredients and a heads up ahead of time so we can plan ahead. - We are happy to arrange transport to and from the airport or to other regions of Senegal (you would have to pay our driver directly) - We can organize grillades for you and your group on our roof- grilled fish around a communal bowl. Costs vary. - If you would like a guide to show you around Dakar or anywhere in Senegal, we can arrange that, as well as any transportation needs you may have. Costs vary. - Cooking classes: Amazing chef Fatou gives cooking classes where you can learn local dishes. It’s a private class where you go to the market together for ingredients, and then come back to the house and cook / learn! Cost is 10,000 cfa plus ingredients. - You can come enjoy Senegalese tea on the rooftop in the afternoons from 3-5pm - Boucar does fitness classes on our rooftop that our guests can participate at a discounted rate. - We usually do a concert once a month on our rooftop. - Laundry services are provided for a small extra charge - WiFi with a stronger signal than most WiFi in Senegal - We can offer takeout / food delivery options (we know all the great restaurants around!) - Family friendly environment with a huge rooftop space, a foosball table, kid bikes, complete with playground structure. - Having your birthday in Senegal?
