The bathroom is all new with a shower and tub. Kitchen is luxuriously appointed with all small appliances, gadgets and tools you will need. You will have the entire house to yourself You will have complete privacy, but im available by text for any troubleshooting, or hiking/restaurant recommendations 100% of Cleaning and Pet fees are paid to Amy and Elena, our cohosts and cleaning team. We will always pay our neighbors and friends a fair living wage. We are Not corporate real estate investors who own Airbnbs in multiple locations throughout the US. We are local people who own and operate 4 Airbnb units here in the Taos valley. If you book with us, your money will all stay in the pockets of Taosenos and their families. The Valverde neighborhood is one of the oldest and most historic areas of downtown taos. You can walk or bike to everything, like the Taos plaza , grocery stores and galleries. Free, safe and private off street parking is included with your reservation. You will find this location to be conveniently located for all of the Taos Valley. Unfortunately, public transportation is limited in Taos county. There are some options, such a s a ski valley shuttle in the winter- please shoot us a message to talk about your specific needs and how we can help! You'll love this casita in the old historic zone of Taos. It is centrally located for easy walking to the Taos Plaza, Harwood museum, Guadalupe church and most restaurants We love dogs and we are here to help with any questions or needs Guest’s well behaved, house trained dog is welcome at an additional rate of $50/dog/trip and capped at $100/total, .2 dog maximum. No Cats, sorry! we have too many guests who are allergic to cat dander. Guest’s dog must have required shots, licenses and tags, including name tags. Guest must provide dog bedding/crate. We provide you with separate towels to wipe off wet paws and fur outdoors. Casita towels are NOT to be used for pets. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Do NOT leave your dog at the casita unattended. If guests’ dog sheds, please brush dog outside daily. Guests must pick up after their dog and discard waste properly. Dogs are NOT allowed to be washed in the bathtub or showers. Guests may use the garden hose and spigot outside- only. Guests are responsible for cleaning up any “accidents” their dog has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage. County Leash Law: it is illegal for people to allow their dogs to run free in unincorporated areas of the county. The ordinance requires that if a dog is off its owner’s premise, the dog must be on a leash. Guests are required to pay for any damage their dog causes. Guests must agree to follow the SH Pet Policy by replying affirmatively in an email.
