Next to the living room is the guest bathroom which features the original and funky surfboard entrance to the hot water shower. Sleep comfortably and stay cool in each bedroom that offers queen-size mattresses, new A/C units and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom includes a workspace with an office desk and an Indonesian inspired ensuite bathroom. Sip your morning coffee or tea on the back patio complete with couches, fans, and an alfresco dining table for 6. On the front patio you'll find a rock garden view and laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. Although the house is centrally located in town, the garden provides a feeling of disconnect from the local street life. There's nothing minimalist about this home. There is a Backup Battery System which allows 6-8 hours of power. The batteries will run the Wifi, charge devices, the standing fan, some lights and keep the main refrigerator running. The AC units will not work on the battery. You will find a manual in the house to explain how to turn it on. If you book a long stay or have specific dietary needs, we would recommend grocery shopping in Santiago before arriving to Santa Catalina. We are located right next to grocery store Wahoo Rock, the pharmacy, ATM, fruit shop and other stores if there's anything else you need. **There is an ongoing construction project across the street.**
