Relax at this quiet retreat. Only 1 hour from New Orleans, Little Green Valley Cottage is a small but spacious one bedroom home on 2 acres located between Covington and Folsom, LA. Huge oak trees provide a scenic and shady setting. We’re excited to share our get-away as a vacation destination, stop along the way, or quiet retreat One bedroom with full-sized fold out couch that will sleep two people but is more ideal for 1 adult The home includes a gated deck and back porch to secure pets or little ones. The tranquil setting also boasts a small stock tank pool and pond along with an outdoor fire pit. Board games, a smart tv, croquet set and playing cards are available, and the home has 2g and 5g WiFi. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes vintage china and glassware that we think is too pretty not to use. The property has hosted several parties and events - feel free to inquire about decor and Edison lights that can be used. The home is bordered by fences and we share a pond with the neighbor who has a picturesque barn. There are two friendly German Shorthaired Pointers next door who are secured by electric collars but who are sweeties, nonetheless. The pond is available for fishing and we provide cane poles. A bait shop is 10 minutes away. We ask that you catch and release the bream and bass. Feel free to message with questions. We want your stay to be relaxing and memorable! Cozy cottage on a country road centrally located. Secluded from neighbors who are mostly operators of horse farms or have a few acres to enjoy. A vehicle is needed to get to and from the destination with the nearest public conveniences 10-15 minutes away. This is a rural location with the typical country guests, like deer, snakes and bugs - the snakes are less frequent but we occasionally see them. We will provide both deet and deet-free repellent.
