The town in between lava rocks and open areas. The downtown is unique and charming and boasts a small town feel with welcoming cafes and Icelandic design boutiques. Free parking is available just outside the main door. Bus number one (main line) stops within a 3 minute walking distance and takes you to downtown Reykjavik within 15 minutes. There are numerous walking routes in the neighborhood. The famous Hellisgerdi park is within a 5 minute walking distance.
